Traditional Latin Mass to be Celebrated in Montgomery, Alabama
Una Voce Central Alabama is pleased to announce that, after 40 years, the Latin Mass (Extraordinary Form) will again be celebrated at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Montgomery, Alabama, at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 27.
Father Mark Fischer, Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter, will be the celebrant. The Mass, a Missa Cantata, will be sung by St. Cecilia Schola Cantorum, of Auburn.
Una Voce Central Alabama continues its efforts to see the establishment of an every-Sunday Extraordinary Form Mass at St. Peter’s. This inaugural Latin Mass will no doubt enhance these efforts.
