Solemn High Mass Marks Centennial of Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament

On March 8, 2011, the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Washington DC will celebrate its parish centennial with a Solemn Votive Mass in Honor of the Most Holy Eucharist. Following the Mass, the Te Deum (Hymn of Thanksgiving) will be sung. The ordinary of the Mass will be the Missa Sancti Nicolai by Franz Joseph Haydn, featuring full choir and orchestra. Appomattox, Virginia Gains Monthly Latin Mass

As of November 2010, Catholics in central Virginia may attend a monthly Latin Mass at Our Lady of Peace Church in Appomattox. Fr. Joseph Mary Lukamuzi, O.S.B. will celebrate the Latin Mass on the first Sunday of every month at 3:00 PM. International Conference on Eucharistic Adoration to Be Held in Rome

The Bishop of Fréjus-Toulon, France, Msgr Dominique Rey, has announced a major international conference on Eucharistic Adoration to take place in Rome from June 20-23, 2011. Organized by the Missionaries of the Most Holy Eucharist, a new community founded by Bishop Rey in 2007, the conference will bring together a wide range of international speakers, including seven prominent Cardinals.
