Solemn High Mass Marks Centennial of Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament
On March 8, 2011, the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Washington DC will celebrate its parish centennial with a Solemn Votive Mass in Honor of the Most Holy Eucharist. Following the Mass, the Te Deum (Hymn of Thanksgiving) will be sung. The ordinary of the Mass will be the Missa Sancti Nicolai by Franz Joseph Haydn, featuring full choir and orchestra.
