Papal Masses to Be More Traditional
Vatican watcher Sandro Magister has reported that with the expected replacement of Archbishop Piero Marini as master of ceremonies for Pontifical Liturgies, Pope Benedict plans to restore traditional elements to the Masses at St. Peter’s including the use of Gregorian chant, polyphony and the Latin language.
